Nike continues the legacy of Black Mamba with this brand-new "X-ray" edition of the Kobe 5 Protro, taking inspiration from the iconic shirt designed by Nike for Kobe Bryant as part of the “Broken Not Beaten” campaign from 2011, which displayed his hand injuries alongside his five championship rings. Merging a deep blue tone with a visible foot radiograph motif, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro "X-ray" is detailed with a lighter baltic blue hue on the Swoosh logos and a glow-in-the-dark semi-translucent outsole, while Kobe's signature on the heel counter rounds off the design.
